This is the page where I tell you all about me and the plans I have for my grand adventure as an authoress. I’ll start at the beginning.
I was born in a hospital.
I grew up on a really sweetass dirt road next to a horse farm. Everyone in my neighborhood was related to me in some fashion and it was way less hick-like than it sounds, despite that they were all farmers. Most of the time, my brother, cousins and I ran around through the woods with toy shotguns and pistols reenacting the Revolution or Civil War. WWII popped in occasionally, but not enough for me to remember any good battles.
I’ve been writing since I first discovered the wonder of words, and seem to have skill for creating the many romantic tragedies that are scattered about my hard drive in scenes out of chronological order.
My days are spent in the hilarious presence of a two year old and a husband who thinks he is equally hilarious (sometimes he is; I’ll admit it.), and a cat that has a cute obsession with cuddling that borders on annoying (particularly when cuddling is allergy inducing).
During wedding season (mostly) I can be found designing shoes, and I have no shame in admitting that when at a blockade here at The Noble Project, I spend a great deal of creative energy on my favourite writing exercise.
Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X fanfiction to be exact. 🙂
I drink too much milk, eat too many cookies, and have watched the film Titanic over 240 times. I think we should be friends.
